Dr. Ulises Melchor
Dr. Melchor’s passion is taking care of his patients. Whether it is relieving a toothache or enhancing your smile, he believes in being honest and treating patients the way he would want to receive dental treatment for himself or for his family. His goal is to help you look and feel good so that you can have healthy teeth and gums for your lifetime.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico before attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. During his four years of dental school, Dr. Melchor was very involved in volunteerism and community service and directed a free emergency dental clinic organized by the University of Kansas School of Medicine, which provided dental care to the low-income population of the community. He also served as the chapter president for the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association where he received the 2019 Humanitarian Award from the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Melchor is a passionate, dedicated dentist who strives for excellence by providing the best care to all of his patients. He speaks English and Spanish fluently and is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of LDS Dentists and the North Carolina Dental Society.

In his spare time, you’ll find him at the pool, riding his Onewheel or spending time with his wife and kids. Dr. Melchor enjoys studying dental care, listening to audiobooks and podcasts and trying new and distinct foods. He is looking forward to getting to know our community better!

Dr. Sydney Melchert
Dr. Sydney Melchert-Furstenberg has called North Carolina home for most of her life. She was raised in Reidsville, NC, and is excited to be heading back to Rockingham County after almost 10 years of living in the Triangle. She earned her B.S. in Biology at William Peace University and started dental school soon after. She knew she wanted to pursue dentistry when she was just 16 years old. Dr. Melchert-Furstenberg earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry.

She is an active member of the ADA and is eager to utilize continuing education in order to provide as many treatment options as possible to her patients. She is very excited about the opportunity to build lifelong relationships with patients and provide them with excellent care.

Out of the office, Dr. Melchert-Furstenberg enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, strength training, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is a big supporter of local businesses, as her mother owns a store, and her in-laws own a restaurant in Reidsville. Dr. Melchert-Furstenberg currently resides in Reidsville with her husband Ben and dog Porter. She is thrilled to be part of the Rockingham County community and to provide high quality dental care for years to come.

Single tooth implants are used when one or more of patients teeth are missing. They offer the stability of a natural tooth root, and this is an excellent option for patients who do not wish to have a removable appliance. We know that your time is valuable.  We want to make it easier for you to invest in dental care for yourself and your family by accommodating your life and your dental health needs.  We reserve time just for you to make sure that you are always receiving the best possible care, always treated with a gentle touch, and always well informed.  We will do everything we can to make sure that you and your family are able to receive the dental care you deserve by offering family block appointments and the option to complete dental treatments in as few visits as possible!  You and your time are valuable to us!  Come experience the Madison Dental Difference!

We want to make sure that we make it as easy as possible for our patients and their families to receive the dental care that they deserve.  We know that our families are busy juggling multiple schedule so to help, we offer blocks of appointments for families so that everyone can be seen either at the same time or back-to-back.  When you make an appointment, schedule your entire family.  We will treat you like family making sure that you are all comfortable and accommodated!

If you have a dental concern, call our office and we will do our best to get you in the same day.  We do not want you to have to take off work or be absent from school multiple times.  At Madison Dental, our dental exams and cleanings happen in the same visit.  If during your exam, our Dental Professionals see that extra treatment is needed, we will do our best to start treatment the same day.  Because we value your time, we always do our best to finish any and all treatment in as few visits as possible by completing as much as we realistically and comfortably can during each appointment.

In dental offices of the past, it often took several visits to receive treatment. It was common to have to take off work multiple times for separate exam and cleaning appointments, and for simple procedures such as fillings and crowns.

At Madison Dental, we know you’re busy so we work to break this mold.

Our dental exams and cleanings happen in the same visit. Also, if you want to start other dental work the same day, we are able and pleased to accommodate that in most cases. We value your time, and we do our best to finish any and all treatment in as few visits as possible, completing as much care as we realistically and comfortably can during each appointment.
