Dr. Sydney Melchert-Furstenburg

Dr. Sydney Melchert-Furstenburg has called North Carolina home for most of her life. She was raised in Reidsville, NC, and is excited to be heading back to Rockingham County after 10 years of living in the Triangle. She earned her B.S. in Biology at William Peace University and started dental school soon after. She knew she wanted to pursue dentistry when she was just 16 years old. Dr. Melchert-Furstenburg earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the ADA and is eager to utilize continuing education in order to provide as many treatments options as possible to her patients. She is very excited about the opportunity to build lifelong relationships with patients and provide them with excellent care. Out of the office, Dr. Melchert-Furstenburg enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, strength training, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is a big supporter of local businesses, as her mother owns a store, and her in-laws own a restaurant in Reidsville. Dr. Melchert-Furstenburg currently resides in Reidsville with her husband Ben and dog Porter. She is thrilled to be part of the Rockingham County community and to provide high quality dental care for years to come.
